Invitation to Consign: Russian Works of Art and Fabergé

With a 66% share of the global Fabergé auction market, Christie’s continues to be the auction house of choice for collectors wishing to buy and sell the most sought-after works by this maker.  In Autumn 2012, we had the distinction of selling the most expensive Russian work of art of the season, an important badge and star of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. The work sailed past its $270,000 (£180,000) pre-sale high estimate to realize over $770,000 (£480,000).

Rare, important works that are fresh-to-the-market continue to capture the attention of collectors around the world. We are currently accepting entries to our 2013 season, which already includes premier works by Fabergé from a Distinguished Midwest Private Collection. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to discuss the current market for Russian Art and the benefits of consigning with Christie’s.

Consignment Deadline: 8 February 2013
