Dodgson's own copy, sold at the sale of his books in 1898, was dated 30 March 1876. Holiday's illustrations "are noteworthy as a triumph of art over almost intractable material" (W-M-G-C p.91). Williams-Madan-Green-Crutch 115. A VERY FINE COPY.
