A JUNYAO GLOBULAR JAR
JIN/YUAN DYNASTY, 12TH-13TH CENTURY
Of tapering globular form, with a pair of ribbed loop handles flanking the short neck, covered inside and out with a milky blue glaze with a bluish splash on one side and pooling in an irregular line above the foot exposing the somewhat granular ware; together with a green Jun shallow dish, Yuan dynasty, the sides widely flared before rising up towards the rim, covered inside and out with a thick glaze of sea-green color falling in an irregular line on the exterior exposing the granular ware
