A BLUE AND WHITE PETAL-MOLDED BOWL
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The deep sides flaring towards the rim and molded with three rows of overlapping petals, the petals on the exterior painted with stems and branches of flowers within blue line borders, the top row of petals on the interior similarly painted above two undecorated rows, and a medallion in the center with flowers growing around a rock; together with two small blue and white petal-molded dishes, early Kangxi period, each painted in the center with a scene of a pair of geese below butterflies alternating with vignettes of various flowers painted in the twelve lobes of the shallow sides
