The American schooner Nettie Shipman waw built in 1884 at Port Jefferson, New York. New York was indeed to become her home port and her owners Miller and Houghton, Port Jefferson. She had two master during her long and active career, A.N. Hudson and later mos Nickerson. In 1919 she was lost at Lat.26',16N,73',34W - all hands on board were saved.
