HELLENISTIC PERIOD, CIRCA 2ND CENTURY B.C.
Mold-made and black-glazed, the base centered by a rosette surrounded by a disk, from which radiates a composite floral of six acanthus petals folded at the tip, alternating with two types of acanthus petals, with an Amazonomachy frieze above of seven warriors with circular shields and short swords, alternating with seven Amazons carrying shields and spears, a band of egg-and-dart below the rim
