East German porcelain plate commemorating space exploration,
bearing Soviet and East German flag colours and national emblems, inscribed, NHTEPKOCMOC INTERKOSMOS and dated 1978, painted and gilded gold, red, black, blue and red, the base with trade mark 1777 Henneberg Porcelain Made in German Democratic Republic and numbered 34 --9¼in. (23.5cm.) diam.
