Lot Notes

This is an early copy of a rare work by a contemporary and colleague of Nasir al-Din al-Tusi. He was born in Damascus, but worked in Maragha at Tusi's observatory. Two other works by him are recorded, but there appears to be only one other copy of the present work which is known to be preserved in Konya (Yusuf Agfa 140).
