In the form of a stylized human face, the narrow eye-slits with angular lids and modelled brows, the broad nose with perforated nostrils, the small mouth closed, the filtrum indicated, with a pointed chin and prominent ears, a loop above the nose once joined to a hinge, a pin below each ear, the mask backed with iron
