Lot Essay

According to the vendor, who was the lead guitarist for Ricky Fenton And The Apaches, who supported The Beatles on this occasion, Ringo Starr, known for his heavy drumming action, broke a set of sticks during The Beatles two live sets, and discarded them. After the group had finished, The Beatles' roadies packed up their equipment and left the venue, leaving Ricky Fenton And The Apaches to close the evening's entertainment. When the support band finished, the vendor's father, who was also their manager, helped clear up the stage, and when he spotted Ringo's two broken drumsticks he picked them up as a memento.
