A ROMAN GLASS AMPHORISKOS
Circa Second Half of the 1st Century A.D.
Translucent streaked pale aubergine in color, mold-blown in a two-part mold, the ovoid body with horizontal ridges, the cylindrical neck free-blown, the rim folded out then in, with twin vertical handles

Acquired by the current owner in the early 1980s.
