Lot Notes

In his recent works Pooya Aryanpour's use of calligraphy-inspired lines have become liberated from their resemblance to the letter-form, coalescing instead into abstracted objects. Superimposed on a darker background, an illusion of depth and space and a sense of dynamism is created.
