Lot Notes

The design of the Starship Enterprise-E was the responsibility of production designer Herman Zimmerman. For Star Trek: First Contact, he not only had to design the ship's new engine room, but he had to construct it so it was (relatively) easy to convert it from "normal" condition to its "borgified" state. This collection includes both sets of drawings, as well as numerous other Enterprise-E interiors. From the very beginning of Star Trek back in 1964, it was clear that the good ship Enterprise was one of the stars of the show. And the bridge set was the most important part of the spacecraft. That's why the construction of a new Enterprise bridge was always such a critical element of a film or television show. This collection features the construction blueprints for the most advanced version of the Enterprise, as first seen in Star Trek: First Contact.
