Lot Notes

The "master systems display" table in engineering was originally designed as a focal point for the set, where the chief engineer and his (or her) staff could solve problems that threatened our intrepid heroes. The first such console was made for the Enterprise-D in Star Trek: The Next Generation, where it was nicknamed "the pool table" by the production crew. That original table was refurbished for the Enterprise-D in Star Trek: First Contact. This all-new table was made for the engine room in Star Trek: Insurrection, and it was also used in Star Trek: Nemesis.
