What will I find in your auction catalogues? Visit Christie's Publications to browse upcoming sale catalogues. Each catalogue is a record of property offered for sale in a particular auction. Christie's catalogues, widely recognized for careful research and superb illustrations, feature a description of each lot, images of the property, estimates, essays, sale contacts and viewing times, including the Conditions of Sale and Limited Warranty for that particular auction. Each catalogue also contains an absentee bid form (in the back of the catalogue). Catalogues do not usually provide information on property condition.

How do I purchase catalogues? Catalogues are sold as single copies or as subscriptions based on collecting categories and auction locations. They can be purchased at some of our salerooms, online, by telephone, by fax or by email. Please provide all the pertinent information such as name, billing address, shipping address (if not same as billing address). American Express, Visa and MasterCard accepted.

How do I navigate through the eCatalogue? - Click on the Table of Contents dropdown in the toolbar to view a listing of all the sections and lots in the catalogue. Click on any item in the list that interests you to view that particular page.
- To move from page to page, click the left and right arrow keys in the toolbar above the eCatalogue screen. The left arrow takes you to the previous page and the right arrow takes you to the next page. The Page Up and Page Down buttons on your computer keyboard work the same way; the Home and End keys take you to the front and back cover pages of the eCatalogue.
- To zoom in for easier reading, click on an article, image or caption to zoom in. Select (+) to zoom in or (-) to zoon out. You may also enter the zoom percentages directly into the zoom window. Whenever zoomed in areas spill off the edge of display, just click and drag the page until the area you wish to view appears on the display screen. See also reading style modes below.

What are my viewing options? By default, the catalogue is viewed in double-page mode. Turning off double-page mode displays a larger single page. Pages can be optimised to the height or width of the display. Page height is defined with this icon [ 2 ] and page width with [1].

What are the reading style modes that you offer? Click on View in the toolbar and select any of three reading style modes provided: the Magazine Reading Style lets you zoom in and out on an area of a page; in the Document Reading Style each additional click allows you to zoom in deeper into the page; and the Text Reading Style lets you view content as text in a popup window whenever you click on the area you wish to view.

Can I search within the eCatalogue? Select Search on the toolbar (see binoculars icon) and enter your word or phrase query. If your term appears in the catalogue, the page with the term will be displayed with the term highlighted. You can advance to the next result by clicking the arrow buttons on the TOC menu.

Can I leave a bid on a lot? There are two options: either contact the Bid Department of the saleroom; or click on Go to LotFinder above the toolbar. A new window will open where you will be able to search for the sale and lot you wish to bid on. LotFinder will guide you through the process for leaving an absentee bid online. You will also find an absentee bid form in one of the back pages of the eCatalogue (press End on your computer keyboard, then use the left arrow [3] in the toolbar to find the bid form).

Can I save the eCatalogue? If you wish to save your eCatalogue for future reference or prefer to view it offline, click on File in the toolbar, then select Save for offline reading. The catalogue is stored offline in your browser’s cache. Follow the instructions in the offline reading dialogue box to view your eCatalogue in your browser.
