What are the most interesting features on christies.com? Christies.com's continuing mission has been to offer you the most complete resource for a rich online experience — from viewing all that we have to offer in our auctions around the world, to making an educated decision about buying and/or selling at Christie's. Our constantly updated Website hopefully provides you, buyer or seller alike, with all the information you need with such features as, among others, Christie’s auction calendar, How to Bid, Invitation to Consign and more. In addition, the site also features our non-auction-related businesses, including Christie's Great Estates, Christie’s Images and Christie's Education. How do I browse your sales online? Select the catalogue for the sale of your choice. If you wish to view sale highlights, click on the underlined sale title in our auction calendar. The auction calendar also gives you access to the sale catalogue when you click on the 'Browse' button next to the sale title. Christie’s catalogues go online up to two weeks prior to a sale, and are as richly illustrated as the print version.
Can I change my registration information? You can update and edit your account information at any time. Just log in to your account and select the appropriate link under Account Profile.
How do I log in / log out? You can log in to your account or create an account, wherever you are on christies.com. The top navigation bar leads the way: Log in to your account or Create an account. You will find the log-out button at the top right of your screen. (The log-out button is only visible when you are logged in.)
Why do I need to register to create an account? Your registration provides us with the email address to send you online bid confirmations and the billing address for any post-sale paperwork if you are the successful bidder.
Why do I need to log in and log out? You don't have to log in to view all features on christies.com, unless you want to have access to your online account information. Logging in and out protects the privacy of your information.
What if I forget my username, password or both? For your security and privacy, Christie's staff does not have access to your confidential username and password. If you forgot your username and password, we recommend that you re-register. If you forgot your password, our automated system will email it to you upon receipt of your username and email address.
