Christie's West Coast operations enable us to ensure the highest level of service for our international clientele. The first U.S. auction center outside of New York, Christie's Los Angeles officially opened its doors to the public in May 1997. Designed and laid out in the early California Regionalism style, the exterior façade and interior space of the building evoke the optimistic feeling of California in the 1920s and 1930s.
In addition to a sale calendar of California, Western & American Art and Wine throughout the year, Christie's Los Angeles stays busy with special events and educational programs, as well as housing specialists in a wide variety of categories, including 20th Century Decorative Art & Design, California, Western & American Art, Jewelry, Post-War & Contemporary Art, Wine and Trusts & Estates.
