
Via dei Bossi, 4Christie's has been active in Italy since 1958, when renowned art expert Hans Baeker opened an office in Rome. In 1975 Christie's moved to Palazzo Massimo Lancellotti in the Piazza Navona, where it still has a representative office. Since September 2006, Christie’s Italy headquarters is based in Milan at Via dei Bossi, 4, and all auctions and viewings are held at the nearby Palazzo Clerici. In addition, a network of regional representatives ensures services in all major territories in Italy.
Today, auctions are held twice a year in the spring and fall, with a focus on Jewels, Watches, Modern & Contemporary Art and Old Master Pictures.
