The films have now been running since 1962, are loved by generations, and have a truly global appeal as illustrated by the diversity of bidding seen today. The market for James Bond memorabilia is well-established, and continues to grow – another highlight of the sale was a .41 (Rimfire) Remington Arms Derringer gun used by Knick Knack in The Man With The Golden Gun in 1974, which sold for £15,000. The sale generated significant global interest, particularly from young collectors, and a total of 41% of lots were sold or directly underbid online via Christie’s LIVE.”
