Buyers were keenly aware of the unique provenance of these classic Burgundies and the attraction of a sale that can never be repeated, even at Christie’s.” Mr. Charles Curtis MW, Head of Wine for Christie’s Asia, added, “Tonight’s sale demonstrated the enduring passion of our Asian clients for the wines of Burgundy.
