If you’ve attended a high-profile charity auction in recent years, chances are you’ve had the privilege of witnessing Lydia Fenet in action. At 33, Fenet has become one of Christie’s most charismatic and experienced benefit auctioneers. By night, she can be found wielding her gavel to raise millions for some of the largest non-profit organizations in the country, including The Clinton Foundation, AMFAR and the Food Bank of New York. By day, Fenet oversees the bustling Special Events department at Christie’s, where she has worked for over a decade. If that’s not enough, last year she expanded her role by launching the strategic partnership program for Christie’s to identify and develop global partnerships with other luxury brands. In her spare time, Fenet has recently channeled her love of interior design by redecorating the Chelsea apartment she shares with her husband.
