Andrew joined Christie’s in January 2009 and serves as Vice President, Head of Department, American Furniture and Decorative Arts. Prior to Christie’s, Andrew had served as Director of Business Development and an Auctioneer for one of New Jersey’s premiere regional auction houses as well as an Assistant Vice President of the American Furniture and Decorative Arts department of another major New York auction house where he was actively involved in several landmark sales such as The Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jeffords, The Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Lammot DuPont Copeland, and Selections from Israel Sack, Inc. He is also a contributing member to Winterthur Museum, Colonial Williamsburg, The Decorative Arts Trust, The National Trust for Historic Preservation and Preservation New Jersey. Mr. Holter is a graduate of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey and regularly appears on television as an appraiser for the hit PBS program Antiques Roadshow
