Koons' rare and spectacular Large Vase of Flowers (shown here), an exquisitely colorful, vibrant work from 1991, containing psychologically complex allusions to social hierarchies, taste, life cycles, and sex, ultimately sold for $5,682,500 (RT: 1:20)
