Highlights from FIRST OPEN | Hong Kong

A preview of our specially curated mix of contemporary Western and Asian art, presented in four themed sections — to be auctioned on 23 March

The FIRST OPEN | Hong Kong auction on 23 March has much to offer both experienced collectors and those looking to embark on their collecting journey.

Our specially curated mix of contemporary Western and Asian art, offered at accessible price points, presents stunning works by Yoshitomo Nara, Yayoi Kusama, Matteo Negri, Ju Ming, Li Chen, Mai Trung Thu, Chu Teh-Chun, Shiy De Jinn, Paul Jenkins, Oh Se-Yeol, Sadamasa Motonaga and Eddie Martinez among many other leading artists.

The sale has been arranged according to four themes. They explore how Asian abstract works are brought into conversation with their Western counterparts; the new approaches to portraiture; new technologies in the creative processes; and sculptures, including vases by Jeff Koons and Keith Haring, and wooden sculptures by Wang Keping and Ju Ming.
