Here, Pilkington introduces her workspace, an Aladdin’s cave of drawings, newly finished works, and found objects. A series of prints, produced in collaboration with London’s Royal Academy of Arts, represents a continuation of her practice: ‘What I’m looking for is the psychological element,’ says Pilkington, ‘that’s the logic behind these odd disparate connections.’ Works by Cathie Pilkington will feature in this year’s Multiplied 2015 at Christie’s South Kensington, 16-18 October.
