Christie’s Pop Culture sale in New York will include a range of collectibles celebrating the diverse nature of American popular culture – from 1930s comic strips to the current craze for vinyl designer toys. The sale will offer approximately 330 lots of Hollywood memorabilia, Rock and Roll memorabilia, animation and comic art, space memorabilia, and a collection of designer toys. Also featured is a collection of costumes from James Gandolfini’s role as Tony Soprano in The Sopranos, which will benefit Wounded Warrior Project.

The Rolling Stones/ Mick Jagger
Original designers proof Goat’s Head Soup sweater, made in England by Mike Ross, the Ritva Man, and worn by Mick Jagger. Made exclusively for the Rolling Stones to commemorate the album Goat’s Head Soup, this first edition sweater features the goat’s head appliqué, a tongue and lip patch on the right sleeve (this was the one and only sweater to have this particular patch), Ritva Man and Mike Ross tags, and the number 1 embroidered in the collar.
