Highlights of the Jean Lignel Collection include Mallarmé’s Poésies with a full-page drawing by Matisse, a manuscript of Saint-Non’s journal with two autograph corrections, and two sumptuous lacquer bindings by Dunand. The Collection also contains bindings by major artists such as Pierre Legrain, Paul Bonet, and Germaine de Coster as well as drawings such as Boucher's Allegory of the Education of Louis XV and a sketchbook by Delacroix with drawings and some autograph notes.
