This extraordinarily rare, oversized stainless steel split seconds chronograph wristwatch by Rolex, Ref. 4113, manufactured in 1942, sold for CHF1,035,000 ($1,176,136) at the Important Watches sale on 16 May 2011 in Geneva. Without exaggeration, reference 4113 is broadly accepted to be the most desirable and by far most valuable model in the universe of Rolex watches.
