Invitation to Consign: Books and Manuscripts

The Book and Manuscript Department is organising a sale of valuable and treasured  books and manuscripts on Tuesday 11 June 2013 during the International Book Fair in London.

International demand is always high for rare books and manuscripts in fine condition, such as the collection of 22 letters sent by the Russian poet, Marina Tsvetaeva to her fellow poet, Anatoli Shteiger, between 1936 and 1937.  Including many quotations from her own poetry, the letters sold for £433,250 in London in November 2012.

If you are interested in consigning in both our Valuable Printed Books and Manuscripts sale at Christie's King Street and our Fine Printed Books and Manuscripts  sale at Christie's South Kensington, and would like to arrange an appointment, please do not hesitate to contact the specialists below.

Consignment Deadline: 8 April 2013
