The highlight of the sale is a Cycladic marble female figure from the collection of Gabrielle Kieller, who began in the 1950s to accumulate one of the most important collections of Dada and Surrealist art. Kieller was fascinated with the primeval beauty and surreal symbolism of Cycladic figures, which were a source of inspiration for Picasso, Matisse and many other 20th century masters.
