FIVE SUMERIAN CLAY CUNEIFORM TABLETS
THIRD DYNASTY OF UR, CIRCA 2112-2004 B.C.
All rectangular in form with Sumerian cuneiform inscriptions; including one recording an account of fish received, dating to year forty of the reign of King Shulgi of Ur, circa 2052 B.C.; one recording an account of a delivery of animals, dated to year three of the reign of King Amar-Suen of Ur, circa 2043 B.C.; one recording a large amount of barley used for fodder for asses, dating to year eight of the reign of King Amar-suen, circa 2036 B.C., with a seal impression on the obverse; one listing a summary of disbursements of beer, dating to year two of the reign of King Sun-Suen of Ur, circa 2033 B.C., the obverse with a seal impression of the governor of Umma, reading "Shu-Suen, mighty king, King of Ur, king of the four quarters, Aakalla, governor of Umma, (is) your servant," depicting two figures standing before a seated male figure; and one recording a receipt for the delivery of a lamb, dating to year six of the reign of Kin Shu-Suen of Ur, circa 2029 B.C.
