A Chinese silver repousse bowl, Wang Hing mark, late 19th early 20th century
with deep rounded sides rising to the lappet shaped rim, supported on three dragon supports, the sides decorated in repousse with panels variously enclosing a bird feeding of a fruiting tree, finger citron spray, scholars engaged in coversation under a pine tree, a bird perched on a gnarled prunus beside bamboo and figures in a pagoda watching fishermen in a boat, WH, 90 and two-character marks -- 6 13/16in. (17.3cm.) wide.
