    MAINLY CIRCA 2ND-3RD CENTURY A.D.
    Composed of nine 'millefiori' faceted tubular beads, each on a dark blue ground with yellow and green leaf and red-dotted patterns, with red and yellow capped ends, threaded between circular mosaic glass beads, restrung with later gold hook and eye, 19¾ in. (50 cm.) long; and 27 other glass beads including ten 'millefiori' faceted tubular mosaic beads, 1¼ in. (3 cm.) long max.; a blue, white and yellow glass head pendant; yellow, blue, white and turquoise glass 'eye' beads; two 'crumb' beads, both with black grounds decorated with crumbs of yellow, turquoise, white and red glass; a mosaic glass bead decorated with alternate foliate and palmette design, all 1st millennium B.C. and later, 1 in. (2.5 cm.) diam. max.; and a spherical Islamic blue glass bead with white rimmed darker blue spots, circa 11th-13th Century A.D., ½ in. (1.3 cm.) diam. (28)
