    The oval stone carved in three layers, brown on white on orange, with a comic mask, shown frontally, with an open, megaphone-like mouth, a pug nose and bulging eyes, the hair brushed back at the forehead, the long beard in undulating strands; mounted in a ring as a 19th century setting, a chip in the stone replaced in gold, including some of the hair
