    From the interior base of a bowl, showing two gladiators in combat, probably a Murmillo gladiator on the left with long curved oblong shield and crested helmet, wearing greaves and protective strapping on arms and legs, a dagger in his right hand, fighting a Thracian (Thraex) with similar apparel but shorter rectangular shield
