Depicted mummiform with the arms folded over the chest, wearing a tripartite headcloth, the facial features finely carved with contoured almond-shaped eyes and long, thin brows, a flaring nose and full fleshy mouth, a hieroglyphic inscription in seven rows, reading: "Instructions of the Osiris, Chief of the Storehouse, Montemhet, Justified. He says," followed by a version of Chapter 6 from the Book of the Dead, an ancient repair along the front of the head
