    Reputedly found together with lot 154, in Abusir, Egypt, in the 1930s.
    Formerly in the collection of the German archaeologist and architect Udo Schwalm (1905-1994), formed between the 1930s and the 1970s.

    EGYPTIAN PART I

    THE PROPERTY OF A GENTLEMAN

    The German archaeologist and architect Udo Schwalm (1905-1994) started his collection in the 1930s, acquiring mainly Egyptian and Greek antiquities. In the 1950s-1960s, he took part in excavations in the important Hittite centres of Hattusa, Kültepe and Karatepe. Lots 153, 154, 166, 252, 255, 302, 306, 336, 346 and 364.
