    De forme oblongue, en grès brun, rehaussée d'un décor émaillé vert sur une face, d'un grand pin et un poème ajouté en émail blanc, l'autre face orné d'une ancienne pièce de monnaie en émail vert à laquelle s'ajoute une inscription en émail blanc, la base portant un cachet moulé, le bouchon en tourmaline
    Hauteur avec le bouchon: 8,1 cm. (3 3/16 in.)

    On the side with the pine tree, the inscription may be translated as:
    'Soaring into the skies ; Shi Tian Lun' (Hall of Antiques)
    On the other side with the coin, the inscription may be translated as: 'Imitating on the right, the script on a Zhou dynasty five "zhu" coin ; Calligraphy by Buo Gu Tang' (The Hall of Archaism)

    A similar bottle dated to 1816, formerly in the collection of B. C. Stevens is illustrated by R. R. Holden, Rivers and Mountains Far from the World, New York 1994, p.245, no.106.
