    Représenté assis en vajrasana sur un lotus reposant sur un trône, la main droite en bhumisparshamudra, la gauche reposant sur sa cuisse, vêtu de la robe monacale et d'un manteau, son visage individualisé et expressif, les yeux mi-clos, les sourcils froncés, le crâne rasé, non scellé

    Tsondu Zangpo (1385-1464) or Thang.stong.rgyal.po is known as constructor of iron bridges in Tibet. The bridge at Phomi connecting the borders of the Brahmaputra river is attributed to him and constructed in 1420. In fact, thanks to the iron collected by the local communities who needed to cross the river, the bridge was constructed. Additionaly he travelled throughout Tibet and surrounding countries to teach the Buddhist philosophy.
