    THREE EARLY JADE BIRD PENDANTS, SHANG DYNASTY (1600-1100BC)
    comprising a pale green jade with brown clouds to the breast and feet of the bird pendant, carved in profile with deeply incised lines indicating plumage and incised eye detailing, drill hole to breast; an olive green celadon jade with some alteration to stone, carved as a bird in profile with incised wing and eye detailing, drill hole to chest; a greenish-grey celadon jade with a brown streak through centre carved in profile with incised eye and tail detailing, drill hole to beak area; and a russet and yellow jade archaistic jade pendant -- The first, 1 5/8in. (4cm.) wide. (4)
