    EARLY 5TH CENTURY B.C.
    The first with two facing lions on the shoulder, the body with scene of a draped youth seated on a stool holding a spear, to either side of him a standing naked youth holding a himation wound around one arm, holding spear in other hand, 3½ in. (9 cm.) high; the second lekythos with pair of prancing lions on shoulder, the body with scene of mounted youth holding spears flanked by armed warriors and two standing figures, 2¾ in. (7 cm.) high, both with necks missing; a fragmentary Attic black-figure lekythos with Dionysiac scene including maenad, tendrils and ithyphallic donkey, early 5th Century B.C., Little Lion Class, 2¾ in. (7 cm.) high; and a fragmentary Attic black-glazed lekythos, with glossy metallic glaze, shoulder with rays and meander band, mid 5th Century B.C., 2¼ in. (6 cm.) high (4)
