    Kitae [forging pattern]: Itame with mokume
    Hamon [tempering pattern]: Ko-midare
    Boshi [tip]: Midarete maru
    Nakago [tang]: Ubu, one mekugi-ana, katte-sagari file marks, kurijiri
    Habaki [collar]: Single gilt
    Horimono [carving]: Maru-dome bohi
    Nagasa [length of blade]: 69.0cm
    Koshirae [mounting]: Katana mounting with black ishimeji lacquered scabbard, black mokko leather tsuba, shakudo nanako fuchigashira of bamboo in high relief with gilt details, shakudo and gold menuki of bird and peony
