    Kitae [forging pattern]: itame in ji-nie
    Hamon [tempering pattern]: narrow suguha of nioi
    Boshi [tip]: ko-maru
    Horimono [carving]: bo-hi on both sides
    Nakago [tang]: suriage with katte-sagari file marks and two holes
    Habaki [collar]: one-piece, gold foil

    Koshirae [set of mounts]: comprising a black-lacquer ribbed saya with a horn kojiri and a shakudo ring-style kuri-gata, shakudo nanako-ji kozuka and kogai with pines, plum, bamboo, cranes, and bushy-tailed tortoise in iroe taka-zogan; tsuka wrapped in ray skin and mounted with iron fuchi-gashira with entertainers in iroe taka-zogan and with gold, silver and shakudo menuki of swordsmiths; silver tanto tsuba carved with scrolling vines, 19th century
