    Edo period (18th century), the first inscribed Choshu Hagi ju Nakai Zensuke and Tomotsune, the second inscribed Hishu Yagami ju Mitsuhiro
    The first an iron plate deeply carved on the surface with fans floating on waves, some areas pierce-carved, decorated in gold nunome; the second an iron sukashi tsuba carved with the "1000 monkeys" design; the third a sukashi tsuba with sanbiki zaru
