    THIRD QUARTER OF THE 18TH CENTURY
    With turned long baluster nozzle (chipped), the body finely engraved, the subjects heightened in both red and black dye throughout, including the full British royal coat-of-arms as used from 1714 to 1801, a trophy of cannon, drums and flags including that of The Union, two highly detailed men-of-war in full sail, one flying the British Royal Naval Ensign and the other incorporating the initials RY on the stern, engraved with a parrot, a naval officer embraced by his wife, and fitted with pine base (suspension ring missing)
