    The armor with a sixty-two-plate heavily lacquered black iron sujibachi helmet, the wide black-lacquered iron brim with gold-lacquered constellations, expansive three-plate shikoro (neck guard) with green and faded buff-colored lacing, the fukigaeshi with gold-lacquered crests of opposed sparrows within a bamboo circle (mon of the Date clan), on the back an agamaki-kan (cord ring) with a red-silk agamaki knot, the maedate (forecrest) a gilt-wood sun, with two gilt-wood high-reaching trailing clouds replacing kuwagata, a menpo (facemask) of black-lacquered iron with detachable nose in the form of a large bird (or tengu) beak, the do (cuirass) of five-plate Yukinoshita-style lacquered brown, having a single bullet mark in the center of the chest, a large gold-lacquered crest of sparrows within a circle on the front, three mitsu hikiryo mon (crest with three vertical bars) on the back, with two identical mon on the gyoyo, two loose gilt-copper cord fixture rings on the breasts, the five-plate black-lacquered iron kusazuri (skirt) of green lacing with white lacing along the edges, black-lacquered iron haidate (thigh guards) of kawara-kozane ("tile scales," overlapping scales), hyotan-gote (sleeves of chain with gourd-shaped plates), black-lacquered spiral-ribbed iron tsutsu suneate (shin protectors)
    Accompanied by a certificate of registration as Koshu tokubetsu kicho shiryo (Especially valuable of the top rank) no. ko toku 1046 issued by the Nihon Katchu Bugu Kenkyu Hozonkai, dated 2007.11.18
