    Circular iron plate with dote maru-mimi rim and decorated with chrysanthemums in gold, silver and copper nunome-zogan, several leaves pierce-carved, the rim decorated with scrolling vines and flowers in gold hira-zogan

    With Tokubetsu hozon tosogu (Sword-fitting especially worthy of preserving) certificate no. 227425, issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japan Art Sword), dated 2005.10.27
