    A Sanpin School Wakizashi and a Seki School Tanto in Mounts
    Edo period (16th-17th century), the first attributed to Harima no kami Teruhiro, the second signed Kanefusa
    The first, hira-zukuri, iori-mune with slight curvature, the forging pattern itame mixed with mokume and the tempered edge notare-midare with nie, sunagashi, kinsuji and tobiyaki, ko-maru boshi, ubu tang with one hole and sujikai file marks, 16in. (40.6cm.), two-piece silver habaki, in shirasaya

    The second hira-zukuri, iori-mune with itame mixed with mokume forging pattern, the tempered edge gunome-midare with nie and mune-yaki, ko-maru boshi with haki-kake, ubu tang with one hole and higaki file marks, 9½in. (24.1cm.), one-piece silver habaki, in aikuchi koshirae with black-lacquer saya and ray-skin tsuka mounted with gold and shakudo menuki carved as goats
    The first with Hozon token (Sword worthy of preserving) certificate no. 309863 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japan Art Sword), dated 1988.1.22 (2)
