    Meiji period (late 19th century), signed Bishu Osafune ju Yokoyama Sukekane saku and dated Meiji san'nen sangatsu hi (1870.3) and inscribed Tomonari gojuhachidai mago (58th-generation descendant of Tomonari, founder of the Bizen school)
    Sugata [configuration]: hon-zukuri, iori-mune shallow torii-zori and chu-kissaki
    Kitae [forging pattern]: itame mixed with mokume in ji-nie
    Hamon [tempering pattern]: juka choji-midare, yaki-dashi in nie
    Boshi [tip]: ko-maru
    Nakago [tang]: ubu, ha-agari with kiri file marks and one hole
    Habaki [collar]: one-piece, silver
