    Nanbokucho-Muromachi peirod (14th-15th century) attributed to Yamashiro Nobukuni, with signature of smith who shortened the tang Nagahiro suriageru kore
    Shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune, ko-gissaki, koshi-zuri, with an itame-mokume forging pattern and a ko-gunome-midare tempered edge in nie, midare-komi boshi, carved with suken and bonji on the ura, tang o-suriage with four holes and kiri file marks, 26¾in. (68cm.) long, one-piece gold habaki, in shirasaya

    Koshirae comprising a black-lacquer saya with shakudo hardware, the tsuka wrapped in black silk and mounted with menuki formed as warriors on horse back in iroe taka-zogan
    With Tokubetsu hozon token (Sword especially worthy of preserving) certificate no. 147965 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japan Art Sword), dated 2003.1.16
